Unlike the approach that HTC's competitors are taking with their bezel-less designs, the Taiwanese company has chose to stick with an older design because a bezel-less form factor means that you will need to make certain compromises on the audio front.

A few weeks ago, HTC confirmed that today will be the day its 2016 flagship will be launched. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture that can record videos in Full HD resolution. Previous phones from HTC and others have scored well on the scale, but not offered the best snaps "from the wrist", as in taking a snap without having to put in a lot of effort with framing. Interestingly, the U11 comes with a preinstalled Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa as well as the new HTC Sense Companion that debuted with the HTC U Ultra.

The HTC U11 will be announced tomorrow and like the other smartphone and other tech devices, most of the details of the HTC U11 have leaked out ahead of time.

The similarities between the U11 and the U Ultra don't end with the finish either, as the new phone omits the headphone jack too.

It also supports USB Type C, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, NFC, GPS, Glonass, and 4G LTE.
