June's Lineup of Xbox Games with Gold Features Assassins and Dragons

Wednesday, 24 May, 2017

For those unfamiliar with how this works, during every month Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games - two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360.

Xbox 360 users with a Gold account will be handed Assassin's Creed 3 from June 1-15, and on June 16 it will be replaced with Dragon Age: Origins through June 30. This month's Games With Gold combine to a value of $94 and offer up to 4000 gamerscore.

Speedrunners (June 1st through June 30th).

Dragon Age Origins - June 16 through June 30 - In Dragon Age: Origins, players take the role of a Grey Warden, one of the last of an ancient order of guardians. I hate Assassin's Creed III.

As you can see in the video above, the games available this month make up a rather nice list of games. There is a fifth item though this month that is DLC for an existing Xbox One game that you can download and play for free.

The exception allows Meghan to attend not only the main ceremony, but also all other celebratory gatherings through the weekend. An engagement, however, is still on the horizon, but it will probably happen by the end of the year.

Plus, now that the Xbox One has a dedicated Xbox 360 backwards compatibility store, you can easily search for, find, and download these games should you forget to download them for free during Games with Gold.

Xbox Live Gold subscribers can look forward to grabbing these games starting at the beginning of June.

As it is always with the program, those who have a digital copy or a disc of the games can simply launch them on their Xbox One and play them right then and there.

This suggests that plenty of Xbox owners already own the game, which is a good thing - especially because the game is officially backward compatible on the Xbox One!
