When Pakistan toured New Zealand earlier this year, they shared the same Auckland hotel.

In a clinical chase against Bangladesh, Joe Root's unbeaten 133 from 129 balls helped England to beat Bangladesh by eight wickets with more than two overs to spare, in the first encounter of Champions Trophy 2017, on Thursday. "It's important to focus on the task at hand and I am sure Virat will be telling his team the same".

"The wickets over here are pretty good, and the bowlers are going to have to be at the very top of their game as a result". But the kind of bowling attack India has at present, the Men in Blue definitely hold the edge over Pakistan.

England and Bangladesh have got proven set of skills but notably both the teams couldn't fair that well in the last match that they played ahead of the tournament. Group A comprises of Australia, New Zealand, Bangladesh and England while Group B include India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and South Africa.

"It depends on how the pitch looks before the game. However, I don't expect him to cheer for Pakistan and he wouldn't expect me to cheer for India".

Jimi Manuwa Vs Volkan Oezdemir Announced For UFC 214
His 28-second knockout against Misha Cirkunov in Stockholm recently added to his debut victory over Saint Preux. Jimi Manuwa will lock horns with Volkan Oezdemir at UFC 214 in Anaheim on July 29.

Perhaps their most memorable clash of modern times was the gripping 2007 World Twenty20 final, which India won by five runs. The batsmen are in good knick.

With a number of high-class players, an upset should not be discounted but there is a question mark over Bangladesh's ability to deliver at big tournaments - they failed to win a game at the last T20 WC - which makes England firm favourites. And in both the games, India managed to bundle out the opposition inside 40 overs. "And especially at home, they are a serious side".

Today, the first match of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 for Group A is going to be played at the Oval in London between England and Bangladesh teams.

"I knew that on that track you can't get bogged down in the later part of an over".

Stokes and Tamim were involved in a verbal altercation as tempers frayed in the sunshine but the left-hander reached his century off 124 balls, including two sixes and 11 fours. The game is scheduled to be played at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground which lies in the Edgbaston area of Birmingham in England. When asked about the importance of the tournament Laxman differed from his former teammate's comment. But Mehedi Hasan, who top-scored for the Tigers with 24, said they still believed they could beat England.
