Small details in Wonder Woman that only true fans noticed

Despite the divisive reactions that both Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad received past year, Wonder Woman has become one of the highest-rated superhero films of all time, hopefully marking a turning point in critical reception for the DC Extended Universe. More information is expected to be released in the coming months - hopefully at San Diego Comic-Con - but for now, all of the studio's focus is on Wonder Woman itself.

How would you feel about a Wonder Woman franchise? Though Gal Gadot previously debuted as Wonder Woman on the big screen in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as a supporting character, the box office numbers for this opening weekend might prove the character can stand on her own.

Unfortunately, no one knows what's going on in the Wonder Woman sequel. Or do you still think it was lacking compared to other Superhero movies. Speaking to Uproxx, (via io9), Jenkins said "It is for sure [set in the 100 years prior]". "I'm definitely planning something more interesting using that period of time".

Wonder Woman is out in theaters today.

The first few episodes of any Bachelor/ette are always a bit of a chore. "I have such potential with this great group of men". I'm not sure what life lessons DeMario has in store for us next week, but I, for one, am looking forward to it.

The film, directed by Patty Jenkins, sees Wonder Woman, aka Diana Prince, leave her home for the first time to seek to destroy Ares, the Greek God of War, and end World War I. She discovers her true powers in the process.

"And if it all goes according to plan, Jenkins is more than ready to return to the character for a contemporary-set Wonder Woman sequel (she and Gadot are contractually committed to a second film)", the article reads.

There is no confirmation yet whether there will be a "Wonder Woman 2". As Diana grows into a full-fledged, butt-kicking warrior, her growing curiosity about the outside world is piqued when an American military spy (Chris Pine) crash lands on the island during World War I.In this era of endless aggression, fake news and alternative facts, a hero who values peace and carries a lasso that makes her adversaries tell the truth is one hell of a fantasy. Jessica Chastain posed with an old-school Lynda Carter T-shirt while encouraging women to "get in formation", Octavia Spencer praised the movie for promoting diversity and female empowerment, and Krysten Ritter (star of Marvel's Jessica Jones) said she couldn't wait to see it.
