Wednesday, 04 Oct, 2017

According to Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) head of Forensics Department Dr Mohd Shah Mahmood, who testified as the sixth prosecution witness in the trial today, said he conducted the post-mortem alongside his subordinate Dr Nurliza Abdullah at 12.45pm on Feb 15 which was witnessed by ASP Wan Azirul Nizam from the Sepang police district headquarters.

In March, Reuters reported that shortly after the incident, Malaysian authorities had mistakenly identified the victim as a South Korean and alerted Seoul's embassy in Kuala Lumpur, which told them that he was most likely Kim Jong Nam.

Lawyers for two Southeast Asian women accused of assassinating the half-brother of North Korea's dictator in Malaysia in February demanded that the names of four North Korean suspects be entered into the court's record as their clients' murder trial opened on Monday. Indonesian Siti Aisyah and Vietnamese Doan Thi Huong were arrested just days after the killing of Kim on February 13 as he waited to board a plane to Macau.

Siti Aisyah of Indonesia and Doan Thi Huong of Vietnam told the court they are not guilty. Kim Jong-il's youngest son, Kim Jong-un, was instead groomed to take over, which he did after his father's death in 2011.

The defendants - who face death by hanging if convicted - claim they were duped into believing they were taking part in a prank for a reality TV show and their lawyers have pointed the finger at North Korean agents. Judge Azmi Ariffin refused the request. Police General Tito Karnavian told reporters at the time that the women were given money to participate in the "prank", in which they were instructed to convince men to close their eyes, then spray them with water or some other harmless liquid.

Over the last three innings, the Astros eked out just one hit, a single by Carlos Beltran , and once more tensions began to mount. Mitch Moreland became Boston's first baserunner with a one-out double and scored when Devers snapped an 0-for-15 with his double.

Outbound agent, Desmond Lee, group managing director, Apple Vacations & Conventions, agreed that North Korea is not a popular destination for holiday makers from Malaysia.

After he was allegedly swabbed with the VX nerve agent, Kim walked to a clinic in the airport terminal, where medical assistant Rabiatul Adawiyah said she wiped a "odorless, water-like" fluid from his face with a tissue. Four left Malaysia immediately after the killing, and three others were allowed to leave the country in March after questioning by investigators.

The 29-year-old Vietnamese suspect, Huong, was caught on airport security surveillance cameras wearing a white sweatshirt emblazoned with the big black letters "LOL" - the acronym for "laughing out loud".

"She will be proven innocent", he said.

Kim's pulse, Nik said, was rapid and showing symptoms of seizure.
