Real Madrid's Bale to miss Atletico game with injury

Real Madrid midfielder Isco has spoken about Gareth Bale's struggles with injuries at Madrid.

He is likely to be available for the Madrid derby against Atletico after the global break. Bale's latest injury is a strain to his adductor muscle, as confirmed in the medical report shared by Real Madrid.

Indeed, including Bale's bumper salary, AS believe his 159 games for the club have cost Madrid 1.06 million euros a match.

The 28-year-old, who has been restricted to just nine appearances in all competitions this season, was in line to return to Madrid's line-up ahead of next week's La Liga derby against Atletico Madrid until picking up the injury.
